Tigers Track And Field Senior Salute: Jada Parker

Over these two weeks, the University of Memphis men's and women's track and field/cross country programs are celebrating their 11 seniors with a salute to each.

Today's senior salute is Jada Parker:

Career Highlights

Competed in six American Athletic Conference Championships (indoor/outdoor combined), including last weekend's meet
Best finish at an American Athletic Conference Championships came at the 2017 indoor meet where she won bronze (third place)
Scored her bronze performance with a personal-best 13-4.25 (4.07m) vault
Also posted her outdoor personal-best in the event at the 2017 Rhodes Invitational (13-1.5; 4.00m)
Won the Rhodes Invitational pole vault title with her 13-1.5 (4.00m) mark
For her career, logged eight top-three performances
In her final two seasons, recorded 12 vaults of 12-5 (3.78m) or higher
Improved her vault from her freshman campaign to senior season by over 2.5 feet
Two-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honoree (2013-14, 2015-16)
Tiger 3.0 Club member

Head coach Kevin Robinson comments on Parker:
"Jada is a local track and field performer who's improved a lot over her career. She was just getting started when she joined our program, and she's really developed and gotten better each year. Jada is a fun person to coach and has a great personality. Jada is another in a long line of successful vaulters we've had here."
