Tigers Track And Field Senior Salute: Rebeka Holt

Holt, a junior, is graduating in three years.
Over these two weeks, the University of Memphis men's and women's track and field and cross country programs are celebrating their 11 seniors with a salute to each.

"Rebeka has been one of our strong leaders in the sprints and middle distance groups in her career as a Tiger. She has a great attitude and great work ethic. Rebeka's been a valuable member of our relays. She also is a solid student in the classroom."

- Competed primarily in the 400 meters and 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays
- Three-year member of the Tigers program and graduated a year early with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice
- Appeared in six American Athletic Conference Championships in her career, including the 2017 outdoor meet this weekend
- Tied season-best 55.91 in the 400 meters at the conference meet Saturday
- Ran a career-best 55.84 in the 400 meters at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships
- Her 11th-place finish in the 400 meters at the 2016 conference meet was her top career performance at a league championship
- Best relays finishes at conference meets both came in the 2015 with fourth-place performances in the 4x400 meter relays at the American Athletic Conference indoor (3:44.26) and outdoor (3:40.26) championships
- Her 4x400 meter relay time of 3:40.26 at the 2015 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships was her top time in the event
- For her career, had 16 top-three performances in her sprints and relays appearances
- In final month of 2017 regular season, member of 4x100 (1) and 4x400 (2) meter relays that won three titles (4x100 at Arkansas State's Red Wolves Open; 4x400 at Southeast Missouri's Joey Haines Invitational and Memphis Invitational)
- Ran a personal-best 24.74 in the 200 meters at Arkansas State's Red Wolves Open earlier in 2017
- Two-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection (2014-15, 2015-16)
- A Tiger 3.0 Club member
