Fletcher With Even Par Round at American Championships

PALM COAST, Fla. – Redshirt sophomore Michaela Fletcher carded an even par 72 in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Championships, Monday. As a team, Memphis shaved eight strokes off its first round 315, carding a 307, remaining in ninth place at 622.

Fletcher's second round 72 moved her up nine spots in the standings and she will begin the final round, Tuesday, tied for 30^th overall, at 151.

Emily Goldenstein matched her first round 78 with a second one on Monday. She is 40^th overall with 156.

Defending conference champs Houston took a one stroke lead on Monday in the second round. The Cougars carded a 282 and hold the team lead at 572 (-4), one ahead of UCF.

Houston's Leonie Harm leads the individual standings at 136 (-8), four strokes ahead of Cincinnati's Ashley Cassidy and UCF's Ashley Holder at 140 (-4).

Memphis will begin its final round of play off the 10^th hole starting at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday. Live scoring is available at www.golfstatresults.com.
