Friday Night Stripes Schedule Set

Block party kicks off at 5 p.m. on Tiger Lane.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team holds its annual spring game, "Friday Night Stripes presented by Ashley Furniture," at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium Friday, Apr. 14. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (CT).
Admission and parking to "Friday Night Stripes" are free. A complete rundown of the night's events is as follows (all times Central):
5:00 p.m. Tiger Lane Block Party Begins
(Inflatables, Rock 103, Memphis Spirit Squads,
Mighty Sound of the South, TOM III and a Stripe-Up Station)
6:00 p.m. Tiger Walk
6:00 p.m. Gate Three Opens for Fans (all seating on West Side of Liberty Bowl)
6:50 p.m. Video Board Interview with Head Coach Mike Norvell
7:00 p.m. 600 WREC Broadcast with hosts Forrest Goodman and Matt Dillon and
in-game interviews from Dave Woloshin on the sidelines
7:00 p.m. First Quarter
Second Quarter
Overtime (Special Guest Coaches: Tom Schad, Gary Parrish)
Team Huddle Followed by 20-minute Autograph Session
The spring game's first and second quarters are using the standard 15-minute clock. The overtime session features guest coaches, Tom Schad and Gary Parrish. Schad, the Tigers' football beat writer from The Commercial Appeal, is coaching the Fighting Schads, and Parrish, a University of Memphis alum and CBSSports.com national college basketball writer, is the Parrish Playmakers head coach. Each coach will have two series with the Tiger offense, while the other coaches the defense. The coaches will switch sidelines at the completion of each series.
Concession stands will be open on the West Side of the stadium concourse.
Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can do so at the Memphis athletics ticket area on the stadium concourse behind Section 104.
