Softball Heads To SEC Foe Ole Miss Wednesday

Tigers will travel down the road to play Rebels on SEC Network +
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis softball team will take a break from American Athletic Conference action to take on No. 22/25 Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss. Wednesday evening. First pitch on the SEC Network + is set for 6 p.m.

• Memphis comes into the midweek match-up against Ole Miss with a 23-18 overall record.Â

• The Rebels are coming off of a 1-2 weekend against No. 5 Auburn. Ole Miss won the second game of the series on Saturday and fell in the rubber match by a score of 3-1 Sunday.
• Elantra Cox is tied with Lindsay Crowdus in batting average with a mark of .485. She is one hit behind Crowdus at 64 and has scored a team-high 37 runs for the Rebels.
• As a squad, the Rebels are hitting .322 with five everyday players hitting over .300.
