Volleyball Signee Earns Two Postseason Honors

Flowers Named PrepVolleyball.com All-American, Academic All-State.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Hannah Flowers, a member of the Tigers volleyball signing class, added to her long list of postseason honors with two more accolades following her outstanding senior campaign in the fall of 2016.
The 6-foot-2 outside hitter was named a 2016 PrepVolleyball.com All-American and a Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association (MHSVCA) Academic All-State selection.
Since helping lead her Lafayette High School squad to a six-straight state title in late October of 2016, Flowers also earned MHSVCA Class 4A All-State first team, MHSVCA Saint Louis/Northeast All-Region first team and St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro accolades.
Flowers led her Lancers squad with 3.26 kills per set and tied for team-high honors with 60 service aces. She played in 77 sets and had 251 kills (team-high), 149 digs, 60 total blocks and a .334 hitting percentage. Flowers had 30 kills in the state tournament, including 13 kills in a quarterfinal round victory over St. Joseph's.
In her four seasons on the Lafayette varsity squad, Flowers helped lead the Lancers to a 122-21-3 overall record, a 37-0 league mark and four state championships.
