Â
On his gold medal team and his OYSL Championship teams, he was the named the team captain.
Â

Â
"Justyn is a very talented player who is a proven leader on and off the field," said Mulrooney. "He is the perfect combination of athleticism, technical and tactical know how of someone who should immediately compete for a starting role. He brings knowledge and confidence that earned him call-ups with the Canadian Youth National teams. He is a current teammate of future Tigers Zac Zitoli and Marcus Brooks and will bring an immediate chemistry to a very solid backline."
Â
Mitchel Foster
Goalkeeper | 6-1 | Freshman
Temecula, Calif. | Linfield Christian School
Â
Â
Foster will join the Tiger squad as a goalkeeper from Temecula, Calif. He has accumulated over five years of club soccer experience with the Temecula United Club, the Arsenal Soccer Club, the Southwest Soccer Club, and the Nomads Soccer Academy.
Â
At Linfield Christian School, Foster has lettered three seasons as the team's goalkeeper. He has been named First-Team All-League, Second-Team All-League as well as the League's Most Valuable Player.
Â
In addition to playing soccer, Foster has earned the Film Award of Distinction at his high school after being responsible for producing the weekly news program.
Â
"Mitchel is a player who has played on some of the traditionally strongest club and academy teams in California, allowing him to compete with the best players in the country," added Mulrooney. "That is the type of experience needed to compete for the goalkeeping spot. Mitchel has an incredible appetite for competition. He is someone who will come in and compete with and push the other goalkeepers on the team to reach new heights. Athleticism, determination, and leadership are all adjectives used from his previous coaches and are all attributes that will come in handy as he competes with two veterans for the starting role. We are excited to have someone as talented as Mitchel who has drawn very close comparisons to our other two goalkeepers, making him an immediate fit with this goalkeeping staff."
