Trosclair Named To American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll

Junior shortstop went 10-for-17 with four multi-hit games en route to a 5-0 weekend
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis junior shortstop Kyler Trosclair has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after helping lead the softball team to a perfect 5-0 record this past weekend at the Blues City Classic. Memphis has now improved to 9-7 on the year.

This is the first time in her career that Trosclair has been named to The American Weekly Honor Roll.

Trosclair led the Tigers alongside Lindsay Crowdus with 10 hits which included four multi-hit games. This weekend, she recorded her first double and first triple of the season while driving in one run.

She also led Memphis this weekend with five runs scored and was responsible for a perfect 5-for-5 showing in stolen bases. Her perfect fielding percentage also contributed to a .980 mark for the Tigers as a whole this weekend.
Memphis will now host the UofM Softball Tournament next weekend at the Tigers Softball Complex. The Tigers will take on Oakland, Buffalo, Indiana, Western Illinois, and Lipscomb in five games this weekend, starting with Oakland at 6 p.m. Friday night.
