Creighton Named To AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis women's basketball player Cheyenne Creighton has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after posting a 17 point, 14 rebound double-double to lead Memphis to a 64-62 victory over UAB Saturday afternoon.

This is the second time this season and eighth time in her career Creighton has been named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Creighton, along with Taylor Barnes, led the Tigers with 17 points against UAB. The 14 rebounds were a career-high, topping her previous mark set against Vanderbilt last season. It was the fifth time this year Creighton had scored at least 17 points and eighth double-figure game overall.

The Tigers will hit the road this Saturday for a trip to Vanderbilt. Tip-off against the Commodores is set for 6 p.m. and can be heard on the airwaves at 91.7 FM WUMR.
