Coming into Wednesday's game, here are five things to know about the Memphis women's basketball team.
Â
A Look At IUPUI
IUPUI enters into Wednesday's game with a 4-1 overall record and wins against Northern Iowa, Georgetown (Ky.), Indiana State, and Wyoming. The Jaguars lone loss this season was to American Athletic Conference foe UCF on the road by a score of 63-59.

In addition to Lawrence, Sydney Hall is adding double-figures as well with 10.4 points per contest. Macee Williams leads the team in rebounding with 7.8 per game. As a team, the Jaguars outrebound their opponent by over six rebounds per game.

Â
Austin Parkinson is the head coach of the Jaguars and is currently in his eighth season at the helm, where he has won 124 games. IUPUI was selected to finish seventh in the Horizon League poll. This is the first season as a member of the Horizon League after moving from the Summit League.

Despite dropping three games during its trip to Las Vegas last week, several individual Memphis players had solid performances throughout the week. Coming into Wednesday's game, here are five things to know about the Memphis women's basketball team.
Â
- Senior forward Cheyenne Creighton has picked up where she left off and comes into the IUPUI game with back-to-back double-doubles. Creighton now has 11 in her career and is one of just 16 Memphis players in history to achieve at least 11 double-doubles in their career.
- Creighton is also approaching 1,000 points and is on pace to do so after the start of conference play. The Pickering, Ontario native is now just 148 points shy of being the 24th player in program history to reach the milestone. In Las Vegas, Creighton had 22 points against No. 21 DePaul.
- Senior Brea Elmore led Memphis offensively in Las Vegas, posting a pair of 16-point games and a team-high 20 points against Kent State. It was Elmore's fifth career 20+-point performance.
- Freshman forward Alana Davis scored a career-high 16 points against No. 9/8 Ohio State to open the Play4Kay Showcase. She ranks third on the team and first among freshmen with 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
- The Tigers are much improved from the free throw line this year compared to just a season ago. In 2016-17, Memphis finished with a team mark of 64.1 percent from the line, whereas this season the Tigers are second in the conference at 75.5 percent. Breigha Wilder-Cochran has hit all 10 of her free throws taken this season.
