Memphis Announces Promotions For Home Football Games
Oct 05, 2017 | Football
Final four games are Navy, Tulane, SMU, ECU.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Athletics Department will offer special promotional efforts for the Tigers' final four home football games.
The Oct. 14 game against Navy at 2:45 p.m. (CT) will be Cancer Awareness Day. Hospitals in Memphis are world-renowned for efforts in treating childhood cancers, and the cancer research happening in and around the region is making a difference in countless lives. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition and support of all who have been impacted by cancer, a special Tiger stripe ribbon has been created for this game.
On Friday, Oct. 27, the Tigers host the Green Wave of Tulane at 7 p.m. (CT). This game is the annual Salute to the 901. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Stephen Gostkowski bobblehead. The 2017 M Club Hall of Fame inductee played both baseball and football at Memphis, before beginning his NFL career. This unique bobblehead also has a bobble leg, making it a keepsake every Tigers fan will surely covet.
Military Appreciation Day will be Saturday, Nov. 18 versus SMU, and Memphis will pay tribute to veterans, active duty military, and their families. This special event will feature a military flyover, a patriotic halftime theme, and recognition of all who have served our country.
The regular-season home finale will be the Memphis State throwback game. The Tigers host East Carolina Saturday, Nov. 25 and will pay tribute to the heritage that has made the current successes possible. Every school has a legacy that has set the stage for the present and the future, and at the University of Memphis, the days as Memphis State remind us of how far we have come as a University. This game is dedicated to those memories.
Tickets for single-games or three-game packages are available now by calling 901-678-2331 or by visiting GoTigersGoTix.com.
