Memphis Madness Returns to FedExForum

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis will be hosting Memphis Madness on Thursday, Oct. 12, at FedExForum. This family-friendly event starts with a meet-the-team autograph session at 6 p.m. that includes both the men's and women's basketball teams.
The program will begin at 7 p.m. and features team introductions, a slam dunk competition, skills challenge and men's basketball scrimmage. Former University of Memphis men's and women's basketball players will be in attendance and will participate in various activities of the night.
The Memphis Pom Squad and the Mighty Sound of the South will also be performing, and the night will end with a concert by iHeartMemphis and Gabrielle Nicole. All aspects of the event, including the entertainment, will be family friendly.
Ashley HomeStore is the sponsor of the event and will host a promotion where one lucky fan will have an opportunity to win a $5,000 shopping spree. In addition, a University of Memphis student will win $500 in dining dollars.
Tickets to Memphis Madness are $5, but kids 12 and under and UofM students are admitted free. Tickets are available at the University of Memphis ticket office, by phone at 901.678.2331 or online at GoTigersGoTix.com.
