Charles Blankenship Named To AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Redshirt senior Charles Blankenship has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after scoring the game-tying goal against USF last Saturday afternoon. This is the first time in his career that he has been recognized by the AAC.

Down 1-0 to the Bulls, Blankenship finished off a cross from Burke Fahling to find the back of the net in the 40^th minute of Saturday's match. The goal proved to be the final score of the contest as the match ended in a double overtime tie.

Blankenship is one of three players with two goals this season for the Tigers. He started in the match against UCA and overall has a .778 shots on goal percentage.
