Men's tennis advances four on singles side and two on the doubles side.

MEMPHIS – The Memphis men's tennis team advanced six of nine entries to day two of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, Thursday. Day two of the event will kick off at the University of Tennessee at 8 a.m. with one round of doubles play.

The doubles entries of Kai Lemke and Matt Story grabbed an 8-3 win on Thursday and will face the team of Jorge Agudo and Anthony Bosch of Northern Kentucky at 8 am Friday.

The team of Jan Pallares and Felix Rauch also grabbed a win to advance to Friday doubles. The duo won 8-2, and will face the team of Gonzala Garcia and Edu Mena of Tennessee Tech at 8 am.

In singles play, Kai Lemke, Chris Patzanovsky and Jan Pallares used straight set wins to move on to the second round of singles play. Felix Rauch split his first two sets, but used a 6-1 third set win over Hendrik Inno of Belmont to advance to Friday's play.
