Six Tigers competed in the pre-qualifying draw this past weekend.

MEMPHIS – Senior Kai Lemke will begin his ITA All-American singles and doubles run on Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa. Lemke will be the lone Tiger in the singles draw as his six teammates in the prequalifying draw were unable to advance in to the next level draw.

Lemke will also team with Matt Story in the doubles draw at the event after the duo advanced to the finals of the Alabama Four-in-the-Fall to start the season.

In the pre-qualifying draw, Chris Patzanovsky and Felix Rauch advanced to the Round of 64 for the deepest Memphis runs in the draw. Patzanovsky received a first round bye, then downed Georgia Tech's Brandon Freestone, 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the Round of 64. There, he fell to Eastern Kentucky's Ramon van Flymen, 6-4, 7-5.

Rauch won his opening round match, 7-5, 6-3, against UMKC's Tom Kruse, then took down UTRGV's Elliot Johnstone, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. On Sunday, he played in another three-setter, falling to Ole Miss' Cotter Wilson, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
