Tigers Add More Saturday Wins at Alabama Four-in-the-Fall

Watson goes to 2-0 against ranked foes on the year.
MEMPHIS – Andrew Watson is now 2-0 against ranked opponents on the second day of the season and freshman Jan Pallares Moreal is 2-0 for his young collegiate career following the second day of the Alabama Four-in-the-Fall.
Watson too down Columbia's Victor Pham, 6-3, 6-4 in the Crimson Singles draw, while Pallares Monreal defeated Adam Ambrozy, 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5, in a three-set thriller.
Shakeel Manji also grabbed his first win of the fall in the white singles bricket, defeating Columbia's Jack Turchetta, 6-4, 6-3.
In doubles, Memphis went 3-0 on the day. Watson and sophomore Chris Patzanovsky teamed together for a win, 6-4, while Matthew Story and Kai Lemke got a 6-3 win. Pallares Monreal and Turner Voges completed the sweep with a 7-6 win.
The Tigers will wrap tournament play Sunday.
