Miller Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

Junior wide receiver had 169 all-purpose yards in Saturday's win.
MEMPHIS – Redshirt junior wide receiver Anthony Miller has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll it was announced by the league Monday morning. Miller finished Saturday's 43-7 win over Kansas with a career-high 169 all-purpose yards, including an 84-yard touchdown catch that was also a career-long reception.
The Memphis native finished with five catches for 93 yards and added three rushes for 56 yards. The Christian Brothers graduate also fielded three punts for 20 yards in the Tigers' second win of the season.
This is the first weekly honor roll appearance of Miller's career. The junior currently ranks second in the American Athletic Conference with 152.5 all-purpose yards per game, is third with 98.0 receiving yards per game, and is tied for fourth in receptions per game with 7.0 a contest. He also ranks third in punt return average with 8.8 yards/game.
For his career, Miller now has 890 career receiving yards, with six touchdowns.
He and his Tiger teammates are now prepping for another non-conference contest. The Tigers will host Bowling Green, Saturday, at 7 p.m. (CT) on ESPNews. Tickets for the game are on sale now at www.GoTigersGoTix.com.
