Tiger Football Opens Camp With Split Squad Practices

Veterans open the day with morning practice; newcomers close the evening with their own practice.
MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis football team opened camp with split squad practices at the Billy J. Murphy Complex on the Park Avenue Campus. The veterans opened the day with a morning practice, with the newcomers looking on. The first full day of practice closed out with a newcomer practice.
Coach Norvell met with media after the first session in a video that is available below.
Memphis will repeat the split practice on day two, Friday.
On Saturday, the team will be reunited in a practice that will be open to all 901 Club Members (season ticket holders). Fans who have received their 901 Membership cards should bring them to enter the practice. For fans who have not yet received their cards, a check in list of season ticket holders will be available. The practice will run from 9-11 am and will end with a 20-minute post-practice autograph session.
