Tigers Volleyball: 7 Days 'Til Set To Roar

Get To Know Me: Tai Bierria
It's seven days until the University of Memphis volleyball team is "Set to Roar" its 2016 season with the Aug. 26 opener.
In preparation for the season, GoTigersGo.com will shed some light on the 2016 Tigers squad. Today's Get To Know Me is freshman Tai Bierria, an outside hitter from Marietta, Ga. Bierria was a four-year prep standout who played two seasons each in Louisiana (freshman, sophomore) and Georgia (junior, senior). She helped her squads to state championships in both Louisiana and Georgia.
Sport-Related
1. How did you get into playing volleyball? I played volleyball for the first time on a fifth grade school retreat and liked it
2. What has been your most embarrassing moment in a match? Served the ball and hit the ref
3. When others see you around campus (excluding close friends), do they know you play volleyball? Or do they think you play another sport? Most assume volleyball or basketball

1. Read the book or watch the movie? Why? Watch the movie. Don't have time for books
2. Which form(s) of social media do you prefer the most? Snapchat and Instagram. I like pictures

2. What did you do this past summer? Visited my hometown of New Orleans, La.
3. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? Invest it, spend it, donate it
4. Do you have a hidden talent that no one outside the team knows? I like to draw. I'm not the best, but I'm pretty good
5. If you were a superhero, what super power would you have? Telepathy
6. If you could compete in another sport, which sport would it be? Basketball. It's indoors and it's physical
