Head coach Kevin Robinson on Hanssler:
"I can't say enough good things about Luis. He's probably the single-most durable and consistent athlete I've ever coached. He's won several conference titles in his career. He solidified himself as the premier multi-event athlete in both Conference USA and American Athletic Conference. He's a pleasure to coach. He has a great attitude and a phenomenal work ethic. He's one of those we can't replace.
