MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tyler Webb, an outfielder from Galveston College in Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at the University of Memphis, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced Tuesday.
"We are very excited that Tyler has decided to become a Memphis Tiger," Schoenrock said. "His athleticism, knowledge of the game, and his desire to win make him a great addition to our 2017 team and we look forward to adding Tyler to our Tiger Baseball Family."
Webb is batting .365 this season with six home runs, 29 RBI and 39 runs scored to earn All-Conference honors. His Galveston College team has a 32-24 record and is currently playing in the Region XIV Tournament.

At Prosper High School Webb was a three-time All-State football player and a two-time All-State baseball player.
He is the son of Denny and Tori Webb and was also a high school teammate of current Tiger infielder Brandon Grudzielanek.
