"Kyle had an up-and-down career. As a freshman, he won the conference title and set the school record in the javelin. He missed 2014 due to injury. Then, he came back and competed at a high level his junior season (2015), earning All-America honors in the javelin. This year, he's struggled with injuries again. It's been a roller coaster for him. Kyle is a hard-working young man, but it was tough to see him go through his injuries."
