Volleyball Hosting Five Clinics Over Summer

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis volleyball program will host five camps over the summer, including a Tiger Camp for boys and girls ages 8-13, a pair of all-skills camps for girls ages 12-18, an elite camp for girls aged 14-18 and a team camp for high school programs.
The camp season will open for volleyball with Girls and Boys Tiger Camps. The first session will be June 6-8th and runs from 9 a.m. to noon all three days. A camp designed to teach boys and girls ages 8-13 fundamental volleyball skills, registration is $125 per camper.
A second session of the Girls and Boys Tiger Camp will be held June 13-15th, again focusing on volleyball fundamentals, and again running from 9 a.m. to noon for three days for a cost of $125.
There is a 15 percent discount for siblings at camp sessions and UofM Faculty and Staff receive a 15 percent discount.
The All Skills Camp will be held July 11-14th for girls ages 12-18. The all-day camp has check in from 8:30-9:00 each morning, then skills instruction from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Checkout will be from 4:00-4:30 daily. The cost for this camp is $300 and will be conducted at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse at 495 Zach H Curlin Street in Memphis. An optional lunch plan is available for all four days for $25 or $8 per day.
The final camp will be the Team Camp, July 18-21st. Open to high school teams, matches will be played each day between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Limited to 20 teams, cost is $700 per team with a $100 deposit required to hold a team spot before registration. Referees, a hospitality room for coaches, all-tournament team gifts and a team camp champion are all part of the Team Camp program. Two visitor parking passes will be provided for each team, with additional passes available for purchase from the camp director. These matches will all be played in the University of Memphis Campus Intramural Services Building (CRIS), located on the corner of Echles and Spottswood streets on the University of Memphis campus.
