ARDMORE, Okla. - In another strong field, the Memphis Tigers will look to continue to build towards the American Athletic Conference Championships - the program's next event following the upcoming tournament.

Memphis comes into this weekend's event after finishing fifth of 14 teams at the in-state Maston Rudolph Collegiate.
This season the team is led by junior Lars van Meijel, who was recently named to the European Team for the Palmer Cup. He averages 71.7 strokes per round this season, with six top-20 performances.
Thomas Perrot, who also has six top-20 finishes this year, averages 72.3 strokes per round, including 71.1 strokes per round in the opening round of tournaments.
Eithel McGowen has been Mr. Consistency for the Tigers, shooting in the mid- to low-70's for each of the last seven rounds. He averages 74.9 strokes per round between the fall and spring, and has one top-20 finish this year.
Sydney Chung has averaged 75.1 strokes per round, while Taylor McCullum averages 75.8 strokes per round, to round out the five Tiger players in the field.
