Gabrielle Paul wins second straight match to end regular season.
MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's tennis team (2-16, 0-2 American) closed its 2016 regular season with a 4-1 loss at Tulane (7-13), Sunday. Gabrielle Paul picked up Memphis' lone point with a comeback 0-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at five singles to win her second straight match.
Tulane took the early 2-0 lead with a 6-3 win at two doubles, combining that doubles point with the Tigers' forfeit at six singles with no healthy player there. But Tulane closed out the win with a 6-1, 6-3 win at three to seal the win.
