Football Game Time at Navy Set

Tigers play in Annapolis at 3:30 p.m. (ET), Oct. 22nd.

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis football team got its first game time assigned for the upcoming 2016 season when Navy announced its home schedule, Wednesday. The Tigers, who will be making the program's first-ever appearance in Annapolis, will be Navy's homecoming opponent for the Oct. 22^nd game, that will air on CBS Sports Network beginning at 3:30 p.m. (ET).

Memphis kicks off its 2016 season and the Mike Norvell era at Memphis on September 3^rd against Southeast Missouri State at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Memphis hosts seven home games as part of the 2016 schedule – Southeast Missouri, Kansas, Bowling Green, Temple, Tulsa, USF and Houston.

The Tiger football team will open spring practice later this month and will host its annual Friday Night Stripes spring game on Friday, April 22^nd at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
