Memphis Adds Additional Men’s Basketball Game on Local Television

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The University of Memphis has added a fourth local broadcast of a men's basketball game for the 2016-17 season.
WMC Action News 5 will broadcast the December 10 contest against UAB, a game that will start at noon central time.
"This is another opportunity for Memphis Tigers basketball to be on display for the whole community," said athletic Director Tom Bowen. "We appreciate WMC making the commitment to Tigers fans that can't make it to the FedExForum that day."
The additional game gives Memphis fans 24 games this season to watch their Tigers on local and national television.
"We are thrilled to partner with the University of Memphis Athletic Department and Raycom Sports to show the December 10 game between the Memphis Tigers and the UAB Blazers," said WMC Action News 5 Vice President and General Manager Tracey Rogers. "This is another way we lead the Mid-South in serving our community."
WMC Action News 5 is owned by Raycom Media.
