Memphis Announces Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis athletic director Tom Bowen today announced that the men's basketball game against Savannah State on Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m. will be the annual faculty and staff appreciation day.

All faculty and staff of the University of Memphis will be entitled to up to four free tickets to that specific men's basketball game.

"We have a wonderful group of people that we work with on a daily basis," said Bowen. "This is small way of saying thanks for their dedication to our university."

All faculty and staff wishing to go to the game on Nov. 19 must go to the Memphis athletics ticket office in the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame on Normal Street during regular business hours on Thursday, November 17 and Friday, November 18. A valid employee ID must be presented at the ticket window. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
