Leeker Named To American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Junior goalkeeper Jake Leeker has been named to the American Athletic Conference men's soccer weekly honor roll after posting his fourth solo and the team's fifth shutout of the season against Temple. This is the second time this season that Leeker has been recognized by the conference as he was named Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 5.

Leeker played in all 110 minutes Saturday night against the Owls with seven saves. The seven saves were just one shy of his season-high recorded against Georgia State on Aug. 28.

The 0-0 tie on Saturday lowered Leeker's goals against average to just 1.27 as well as increase his save percentage to .772. He now has six shutouts in his Memphis career.
