Women's Golf Back in Action at FIU Pat Bradley Invitational Sunday

Leighann Cabush returns as defending individual medalist.
MEMPHIS – The Memphis women's golf team just won a tournament on Tuesday, but is back on the course getting ready for another competition starting on Sunday. Memphis will compete in the 39th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, starting Sunday.
Senior Leighann Cabush is the defending individual medalist in the event. She captured the tournament title with a 215 last season. She is just the second Lady Tiger golfer to win medalist honors at the FIU annual event, following Stacey Tate's 2006 win with a 214.
Memphis captured its first title at the event in 2014, firing an 872. Toledo won the event last season with an 879, and both teams are back in the field in 2016. They will be joined by 13 other teams, including: FIU, Eastern Michigan, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, Jacksonville, UMKC, Marshall, Morehead State, Southern Miss, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Western Kentucky.
In addition to Cabush, Memphis will enter Michaela Fletcher, Emily Goldenstein, Sydney Colwill and Abby Herrmann. It will be Hermann's first tournament as part of the team entry. The Florida native golfed in The Johnie Imes Invitational in Missouri at the beginning of October.
The tournament will begin Sunday, with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. Tee times on Monday and Tuesday will also begin at 8:30 a.m.
