SCOUTING THE OWLS
Temple comes into the mid-week game against the Tigers having won four of its last five games including wins at Cincinnati and at UConn.  Â
In the team's last game, a 78-60 win over East Carolina, the Owls were led by 24 points from Quenton DeCosey, while Devin Coleman scored 17 points off of the bench. Josh Brown added a dozen points while dishing out a game-high eight assists. Jaylen Bond missed a double-double by one point while adding a dozen rebounds.

For the year, DeCosey is the only player averaging in double-figure scoring at 15.6, while four others - Bond (9.7), Coleman (9.6), Obi Enechionyia (9.4), and Brown (8.5) - averaging over eight and a half points per game. Bondy pulls down a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game, with Brown leading the team with 63 assists.

Through the first nine weeks of the 2015-16 season, Memphis freshman Dedric Lawson has been named American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week four times, second-most in AAC history.Â

The total set a then-American Athletic Conference record (it has since been tied once by Jordan Tolbert against Nicholls this season).
