Tigers Women's Basketball 2015-16 Schedule Released

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For University of Memphis basketball fans, their winter months are now officially booked. Following Tuesday's men's basketball schedule announcement, the complete Tigers women's basketball slate was released Wednesday.
Here are a few 2015-16 women's basketball schedule highlights:

17 home dates all at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse, including the Nov. 5 exhibition against Harding University
Nine opponents that played in the 2015 postseason (6 NCAA Tournament, 3 WNIT); playing those nine foes a total of 14 times
11 opponents that finished 2014-15 with a winning record
Eight foes that won 20 or more games in 2014-15, including four with more than 25 victories
Four television contests, with two on ESPNU and two on ESPN3
Regular-season opener and home opener Nov. 13 against Jacksonville State
Road opener Nov. 19 at Big 12 Conference foe Kansas
Two Big Ten opponents in Minnesota Dec. 12 (at Minnesota) and Illinois Dec. 19 (home)
American Athletic Conference opener at Temple Dec. 30
League home opener against Tulane Jan. 3
Six of first 10 conference games at home in Elma Roane Fieldhouse
Five of final eight league encounters on the road
