Tigers Basketball 2015-16 Schedule Complete

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tiger Nation, the 2015-16 University of Memphis men's basketball schedule is finished, and now, it's time to shine. On Tuesday, the American Athletic Conference office released the league slate, which completes the Tigers schedule.

Here are a few 2015-16 schedule highlights:

All 31 regular-season games on television either on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNews) or CBS Sports Network (the only television game yet to be determined is Jan. 2 contest at South Carolina; to be released by the SEC)
21 home dates at FedExForum, including the Nov. 6 exhibition encounter with LeMoyne-Owen
11 opponents that played in the 2015 postseason (6 NCAA Tournament, 4 NIT, 1 CIT); playing those 11 foes a total of 15 times
Four opponents – Oklahoma, SMU, Connecticut, Cincinnati – listed in the ESPN.com and CBSSports.com 2015-16 early summer rankings
Regular-season opener and home opener is Nov. 14 against longtime rival Southern Miss at FedExForum
Nov. 17 game with Oklahoma part of ESPN's College Hoops Marathon
Nov. 27 contest versus Ohio State; the first meeting between the two programs since their 2007 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight encounter
All December games (seven) to be played at FedExForum for a second-straight season; played eight homes games in December in 2014-15
Renewal of the Ole Miss rivalry Dec. 18; the first meeting since the 2010 NIT and the first regular-season match-up since December of 2006
American Athletic Conference opener and league home opener versus Tulane Dec. 29 at FedExForum
First true road game at South Carolina Jan. 2
Nicholls State replaces NJIT as the final non-conference opponent and visits FedExForum Jan. 5
League road opener at Connecticut in Storrs, Conn., Jan. 9
Six of first 10 conference games at home in FedExForum
Five of final eight league encounters on the road
Wraps up regular-season play with back-to-back road games (at Temple, at East Carolina) for a second-consecutive season; last season, Memphis was the only school in The American to play two road games to close the league schedule (at Connecticut, at Cincinnati)
The American Athletic Conference Championship is Mar. 10-13 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
