Kelly Promoted to Assistant AD for Compliance

Kristan Kelly, who has served as the Director of Compliance at the University of Memphis since December, 2013, has been elevated to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.

Kelly assumed the assistant athletic director responsibilities upon the departure of Assistant AD Jason Gray, who accepted at position at Tulane University. Kelly ensured a seamless transition since Gray's departure during the past weeks, which included the start of preseason camps for several fall sports, as well as the beginning of classes at the university last week.

Kelly began her career in compliance at Saint Louis University as the Compliance Coordinator. Shortly after receiving her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2009, she was a legal clerk with Lathram & Herbert, LLP in Collinsville, Ill.

She earned her bachelor degree in Investigative and Medical Sciences from Saint Louis University in 2006.
