Despite tonight's loss, Memphis still holds a 23-15 lead in the series with Tulsa.

Memphis has 189 wins at home at FedExForum since it opened in 2004-05. The 189 homecourt victories are the most in NCAA Division I since 2004-05.
Despite the loss, the Tigers are 87-9 (.906 winning percentage) in conference home games (regular season + tournament) since 2005-06. The 91.6 win percentage is the fourth-best in NCAA Division I since 2005-06.
After being out-rebounded on the glass 40-36 in the first meeting Jan. 21, Memphis responded by out-rebounding the Golden Hurricane tonight 41-29.
The Tigers handed out 17 assists on 26 FGM vs. Tulsa. The Tigers now are 13-3 when they dish out 15 or more assists in a game this season.
Memphis shot a season-low 54.2 percent from the free throw line tonight (13-of-24).

Players Notes

For a second-straight game, Pookie Powell was not on the Tigers' bench due to an illness.
Austin Nichols played only 16 minutes before leaving the game with a right ankle sprain. It is the same ankle he sprained Feb. 7 vs. Temple. He did not return and is expected to miss the next two weeks of action.
Shaq Goodwin scored 17 points tonight (two off his season high). It was his 12th double-figure scoring game of the season and 45th of his career.

Kedren Johnson scored in double figures with 13 points tonight. It is his fifth double-figure scoring game in his last eight appearances.

In his limited playing time tonight, Austin Nichols blocked only one shot vs. Tulsa. He remains in the No. 5 spot on the Tigers single-season blocked shots chart with 93. Up next for Nichols is D.J. Stephens, who is No. 4 on the list with 95 blocks in 2012-13.

Memphis returns to action Thursday, Mar. 5 when it makes its first trip to Storrs, Conn., to face the Connecticut Huskies. Game time is 8 p.m. (CT) from Gampel Pavilion, the Huskies' on-campus arena. Last season, Memphis played Connecticut in Hartford, Conn., at the XL Center, the site of this year's American Athletic Conference Tournament.
