- Despite the loss, the Tigers are 87-9 (.906 winning percentage) in conference home games (regular season + tournament) since 2005-06. The 91.6 win percentage is the fourth-best in NCAA Division I since 2005-06.
- After being out-rebounded on the glass 40-36 in the first meeting Jan. 21, Memphis responded by out-rebounding the Golden Hurricane tonight 41-29.

- Shaq Goodwin scored 17 points tonight (two off his season high). It was his 12th double-figure scoring game of the season and 45th of his career.
