Junior outside makes second appearance this year on the honor roll.
MEMPHIS – Junior outside Catlin Lilly was named to the final American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll of the season it was announced by the conference office, Monday. Lilly closed her junior campaign with double-digit kills in five consecutive matches, hitting .309 and tallying 23 kills in a pair of Memphis wins last week.

Against Tulane, Lilly hit .348 with 11 kills and four digs, then she downed 12 kills and hit .281 with a service ace and a solo block in a 3-0 sweep of Houston that helped the Tigers finish the season in a tie for fourth in The American standings.

This is Lilly's second appearance on the weekly honor roll this year. She also appeared on the list following the first week of the season on Sept. 7th. She is one of five different Tigers to earn a weekly honor roll spot, joining teammates Oluchi Agomuo (Sept. 28), Mady Ruhlman (Oct. 26), Lindsey Purvis (Nov. 9) and Summer Morgan (Nov. 23).

Memphis capped it 2015 season with a 19-14 overall record and a 10-10 mark in American Athletic Conference play that tied them for fourth in the conference standings with UConn and Tulsa, two teams the Tigers split the regular season win, in both cases, winning on the other team's home floor.

The Tigers graduate three players from this year's roster in May (middle hitter Torika Baleilekutu, libero Lindsey Purvis and setter Veronica Zimmerman). Memphis will return three starters and 11 letterwinners from this year's roster next fall, including Lilly. Joining the returnees from this year will be three early signees --- Tai Bierria (Marietta, Ga./George Walton HS), Brianna Kadiku (Cedar Hill, Texas/Cedar Hill HS) and Addison Root (Wichita, Kan./Collegiate School).
