Two Memphis Golfers in Fall Arnold Palmer Cup Rankings
University of Memphis upperclassmen Lars van Meijel and Thomas Perrot, who both won individual titles during the fall season, are among the top-five collegiate golfers from Europe in the latest Arnold Palmer Cup Rankings.

The top six golfers from the final rankings in the spring – from both the United States and Europe – will be among the top-10 individuals selected to compete in the Arnold Palmer Cup at Formby Golf Club June 24-26.

Using Golfstat's NCAA Player Ranking as a base, the Arnold Palmer Cup Raking awards bonus points for wins and high finishes and a negative bonus for poor finishes. The ranking also contains a strength of schedule component.

Through the fall season, van Meijel has a .9921 ranking to rank third among collegiate golfers from Europe. Perrot ranks fifth with a .9281 ranking. Van Meijel is from the Netherlands while Perrot is from France. Arizona State's Jon Rahm from Spain is the top European collegiate golfer with a .9937 score. Stanford's Maverick McNealy is the top collegiate golfer from the United States with a .9995 Golfstat NCAA Player Ranking.
