Kickoff Time Announced for Ole Miss Game

Earlier times for parking, gates also announced for game
Kickoff for the University of Memphis' game against the University of Mississippi is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17th at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The American Athletic Conference announced the game time on Monday along with noting the game will be broadcast nationally by ABC.

Next week's game will be the first Memphis game televised via an over-the-air network since the Tigers defeated Tennessee 21-17 in a game broadcast by CBS on Nov. 9, 1996.

Gates to the Liberty Bowl will open at 9 a.m. on game day, Oct. 17. Tiger Walk will take place at approximately 8:30 a.m. that day.

All parking lots at the Liberty Bowl will open for parking pass holders and game day cash sale purchases at 5 a.m. on game day. Game day cash sale purchases will be at Access 10 (Off East Parkway South) and Access 11 (Southern Avenue). Game day cash purchases for parking will be $20.

For ONLY season parking pass holders, overnight parking will be available beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16th. The correct hang tag pass must be displayed on rear view mirrors at all times. Violators will be towed.

At 5-0, Memphis is off to its best start in 54 years and is ranked No. 25 in the Amway Coaches Poll. The Tigers have won an unprecedented 12 consecutive games dating back to 2014. This is the bye week for the UofM. Ole Miss, 4-1, is ranked No. 14 by the Associated Press and No. 13 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.gotigersgotix.com, by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (901) 678-2331 or in person at the ticket office located in the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame at the Athletic Office Building located at the corner of Southern Avenue and Normal Street.
