Wallace visits Cornerstone Prep Lester Campus
Tearris Wallace, a third-year member of Memphis' football squad, shared his collegiate and sports life along with the importance of respect when it comes to coaches, teachers and members of the community when he visited Cornerstone Prep Lester Campus as a guest speaker this month.

Wallace addressed a group of second graders during their Community Meeting, telling the class about how respect is the key to their future success when it comes to attending college and obtaining a career. Wallace also spoke with members of youth football teams at the school about being at school on time and how becoming a good listener, especially in listening to teachers, plays an important part into becoming a great athlete.

Cornerstone Prep Lester Campus is a public, free tuition, pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade neighborhood school located in Memphis' Binghampton community.

Ranked No. 16 in the nation, Memphis Football plays the first of two straight home games Saturday evening when the Tigers play host to Tulane. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

On Nov. 7, Memphis plays host to Navy at a time to be determined by ESPN late Saturday.

Tickets are available for the remainder of the season online at www.gotigersgotix.com, by calling 901-678-2331 or by visiting the Memphis Athletics Ticket Office located within the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame located inside the Athletic Office Building. The AOB is at 570 Normal Street (Corner of Normal and Southern Avenue).
