Tigers freshman was a highly-decorated prep performer at White Station High School.
The "Get To Know Me" series turns its spotlight today on Savannah Jordan. The local White Station High School product had a stellar prep career in both cross country and track and field. She appeared in the Tennessee state high school cross country championships all four years and also ran in the state track and field meet four years. Jordan, a two-time TSSAA Region 8-AAA cross country champion (2011, 2012), was a four-time selection to The Commerical Appeal's Best of the Preps for cross country from 2011-14.

- How did you get into distance running? I ran track in middle school, and my high school reached out to me about continuing to compete in track.
- What has been your most embarrassing moment in a meet/event? Going to the bathroom on myself! (Ha! Ha!)
- How many times have people told you distance running is outrageous? How do you respond to them? Everyone. I tell them, "We Just Do It! It's a passion and makes you stay in shape!"
- If you weren't a distance runner, what track and field event would you like to compete in? I ran the 4x400m relay in high school and loved it.
- What is the best advice you can give to young distance runners? Have someone to keep you accountable and don't give up!

- When not at practice, what can someone find you doing? Sleeping, eating and hanging out with friends.
- What did you do this past summer? Spent time with my friends and went to the lake a lot!
- If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? Oh gosh, save a lot of it. Buy a new house and car and move far, far away.
- If you were a superhero, what super power would you have? Read people's minds.
- If you could compete in another sport, which sport would it be? Why? Soccer. I love playing it, and I like team sports.
