McFerrin, Hearn On This Week's WKNO Sports Files With Greg Gaston

The duo talks 2015-16 Tigers women's hoops and more.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis women's basketball head coach Melissa McFerrin and senior guard Ariel Hearn are the featured guests on this week's episode of WKNO's Sports Files with Greg Gaston that airs Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17 and 18.
The show airs Saturday, Oct. 17 at 4:30 p.m. (CT) and Sunday, Oct. 18 at 12 p.m. (CT) on WKNO/Channel 10.
McFerrin and Hearn join Gaston to talk about the 2015-16 season, the new rules changes in the women's game and the NCAA legislation on cost of attendance. Hearn also shared her future plans of wanting to work in television broadcasting.
The trio also discussed the two basketball events on Oct. 24. For the Tigers women's squad, Oct. 24 is a full day with Memphis Madness/Fanfest at FedExForum in the afternoon, followed by the team's sixth-annual Heels & Hoops Gala that night. Heels & Hoops, which is held at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn, starts at 6:30 p.m. (CT).
The show is taped at the new Digital Media Center at Cherry Farms Road and Goodlett Farms Parkway. The digital platform also allows the show to air in high definition.
