University details parking ahead of Saturday’s game against Ole Miss
Football fans attending Saturday morning's game between Ole Miss and Memphis are encouraged to arrive early.

The University announced on Tuesday that the tarps over sections in the south end zone are being removed for additional ticket sales. Among the additional seating being made available is student seating in Upper Section 126.

General parking on the Fairgrounds will open at 5 a.m.
Â
Cash game day parking is ONLY available in the Tan Lot located off Southern Avenue (Access 11) and the Purple Lot off East Parkway at Young Avenue (Access 10). Parking is $20 per vehicle. There is no cash parking available in the Blue Lots located adjacent to the stadium.

Fans are encouraged to tune in to the pregame show on Memphis Football's flagship station, 600 WREC, beginning at 9 a.m. for traffic updates. Information will also be available by following @TigerAthletics on Twitter.

For season parking pass holders, overnight parking will be available on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. Â Season parking pass holders arriving Friday evening are reminded to display their hang tags at all times. Violators are subject to having their vehicles towed.

Game Day parking for season pass holders will also begin at 5 a.m. Saturday.

Blue Lot passes are good for Blue Lot 11, Blue Lot 12, Blue Lot 14 and Blue Lot 15. Parking in the blue lots is for both paved and grass designated lots.

Fans should read the back of their parking passes for entry points to their pass's designated location.

The student parking pass allotment has now been completely distributed. University of Memphis students are encouraged to carpool or take the Blue Line Shuttle which departs from the west end of the Central Parking Lot.

The Blue Line service will begin for students, faculty and staff with a valid UofM issued ID, beginning at 8 a.m. The shuttle will run until an hour following the game. Drop off will be at Tiger Lane until 9 a.m. and Hollywood after 9 a.m. Pickup for the return to the Central Parking Lot will be on Hollywood outside Gate 6.

Students still wanting to drive to the game can access General Parking off Southern Avenue and Parkway. Parking is $20 per vehicle.

The Memphis Police Department will have traffic details on city streets adjacent to the stadium beginning at 8 a.m., controlling intersection lights and pedestrian crossings immediately adjacent to stadium parking lots.

Fans should expect heavy traffic and delays leading up to kickoff as well as following the game.

Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 11 a.m. In most of the nation, the game will be available on ABC affiliates. In markets where the Iowa vs. Northwestern game airs on ABC, the Ole Miss vs. Memphis game will be seen on ESPN2.

Tickets for Saturday's game and the Tigers' remaining home games can be purchased online at www.gotigersgotix.com, by phone at (901) 678-2331 or at the ticket office located inside the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame at the Memphis Athletic Office Building located at the corner of Southern Avenue and Normal Street on the UofM campus.
