After winning back-to-back matches, including a 1-0 double overtime win at UConn, Memphis wasn't able to continue the win-streak against two tough opponents in SMU and Temple.
Junior attacker Raul Gonzalez upped his team-leading goal total to five in the loss to SMU last week at home.
Memphis (2-7-2, 1-2-1 AAC) is in a three-way tie for fourth place in the league standings with four points. SMU and USF are both undefeated with 4-0 records. Cincinnati has just one more point than Memphis and sits in third place.
Georgia State (6-4-0, 2-0-0 SBC) enters the match with 26 goals in 10 games and has scored three or more goals in four of the last five matches. GSU has seen 13 different players record a goal and nine players post an assist.
Senior midfielder Eddie Wilding leads the team with five goals and six assists this season, while six other players have scored multiple goals.
The Tigers will host a nationally-ranked USF team Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Bulls (9-3-0, 4-0 AAC) have won three straight games and seven of their last eight.
