On what Cincinnati did defensively…
"They were switching up their defenses. They would show zone and play man and then switch. We were too worried about what they were in instead of executing fundamentals and doing what we do. Many times we wanted it and didn't make the layup. It didn't change much in the second half. We're going to take the home win and call this what it is: ugly, but we also call it a win."
On Cincinnati's offensive success…
"They found a way to get the ball to their big kid early on off of some false action. Once we made an adjustment and changed our defense a little bit we took that away from them. Brianna Wright hit her last two or three buckets and that really was the difference in the game. We finally got the ball where we wanted it and were able to convert. I thought Asia converted a big one as well."
