Series Notes

Memphis improves to 8-1 in the all-time series against Austin Peay.
The two sides met for the first time since the 2005-06 season when the Lady Govs earned a 74-49 at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Tigers are 4-1 all-time against the Lady Govs in games played in Memphis with Tuesday's win.

Team Notes

Memphis claimed the tip-off for the third time on the year and improved to 2-1 on the year when winning the tip.
The Tigers picked up their first win of the season after trailing at halftime (30-28).
Memphis shot 41 percent from the field (26-63) and improves to 2-1 when shooting 40 percent or better.
The UofM posted nine steals to tie a season-high.
With the 65-60 victory, Memphis improves to 3-1 on the year when scoring 60 or more points.

Players Notes

Sophomore guard Taylor Williams made her first start of the season and 14^th of her career.
Junior forward Brianna Wright was one point shy of a second-straight double-double, but the post player had a double-digit rebound total for the fourth time this season with 13 boards.
Freshman guard Brea Elmore drained her first career three-pointer with 9:36 remaining in the first half to give Memphis a 13-12 advantage. Elmore logged a career-high 20 minutes in the game and finished with career highs in points (8) and assists (3).
Freshman guard Amber Holmes scored four points in the second half to set a new career high.
Sophomore guard Mooriah Rowser tied her career high with two three pointers made. It marked the third time she buried two treys in a game. Rowser finished with 15 points, marking the sixth time in seven games she has posted double figures.
Sophomore guard Breigha Wilder-Coachran tied her career high with five steals and set a season high with eight rebounds, one shy of a career high mark in rebounds.
Junior guard Ariel Hearn has 15 points to post her sixth double-figure game in seven games this season.
