Overall thoughts...
"They're averaging 60 points a game and giving up 46. They're going to aggravate you and frustrate you. They're going to make you question everything you do. They have good depth. They have kids that can score and they play a great defensive system. They make you play honest basketball and if you aren't willing to do that, you'll have your hands full."
On UALR's defense...
"The frustration at times meant we penetrated too deep or there was a passing lane we expected to be open that wasn't. We had a hard time executing. I'm disappointed. They're a good team. I'm not taking anything away from UALR. I told our players tonight that if we don't have a mentality to go at them for 40 minutes then we would have a tough time winning. I thought they brought it to us tonight. We're a little under the weather with a couple of kids. We have to step up and play. Everyone is dealing with that stuff.
On being 2-4...
"2-4 is not where we want to be. We would've liked to have been 3-3 going into this game with an opportunity to win and feel good about ourselves. The highs and lows of the seasons come and we're certainly in the midst of that right now. This is going to sound like a broken record, but we have to begin to capture certain moments through the course of the game. I thought the first moment was in the first half with the game close and they pushed it to a seven point lead. Those are moments that you have to capture when the other team is pulling away from you. We had some of our young kids in midway through the second half and we were trying to press and trap a little bit. We misexecuted a lot of things. We have to keep going back to work. We have to go back to work."
