• Memphis defeated East Carolina by 20 points, the largest margin of victory by Memphis against a C-USA opponent this season.
• Head Coach Josh Pastner earned his 48th victory for the Tigers, tying predecessor John Calipari for most victories in his first two seasons as head coach at the U of M.
• The Tigers shot a season-best 55.6 percent (10-for-18) from beyond the arc, their fourth game of hitting 50 percent or better from three-point territory; the Tigers have won all four of those games. It was the first 50 percent three-point game since Jan. 19 against Southern Miss.
• In two previous games with ECU, the Tigers were 6-for-29 (20.7 percent) from three-point territory.
• Freshman Joe Jackson had one of his best games, scoring 24 points and hitting three three-pointers off the bench. He also notched his 100th career assist and scored his 300th career point.
• East Carolina was held without a field goal for more than six minutes to begin the game.
• Junior Charles Carmouche scored 19 points, his highest-scoring performance since transferring to the U of M from New Orleans.
• Bench Help: Memphis' bench is averaging 34.6 points per game over the past three contests.
• Senior Will Coleman scored 11 points, his first double-digit scoring effort since Feb. 9 at UCF.
• Break Point: Memphis outscored ECU 18-3 on fast break points, the biggest margin in the Tigers favor since outscoring UCF by 19 (25-6) on Jan. 26.
• Freshman Will Barton scored his 400th career point as a Tiger.
• Sophomore Charles Holt hit a three-pointer for his season's first points.
