Georgetown now leads the all-time series with Memphis 9-2. The Hoyas have won the last three meetings.

The game marked the third overtime game between Memphis and Georgetown. The Tigers are now 0-3 against the Hoyas in OT. Memphis lost 79-71 on the road in 2008-09 and 83-80 on a neutral floor in 1994-95.

GAME NOTES

Tarik Black had his first double-digit scoring effort of the season and 14th of his career. Black finished with 12 points marking his 14th career double-digit effort.
Will Barton scored 20 or more points for the third time this season and seventh time in his career. Memphis is 5-2 when he scores 20 or more points. Barton finished with a team high 22 points.
Joe Jackson scored 18 or more points for the fourth time in his career and second time this season. Jackson finished with 20 points.

OVERTIME

The last time Memphis had two-straight overtime games came in the 1978-79 season. Memphis lost in double overtime against Georgia Tech on January 16, 1979 in an 89-84 loss and then fell to Florida State in overtime on January 18 in a 93-86 loss.
The loss snapped a four-game winning streak by Memphis in overtime.
