* Freshman Tarik Black and senior Will Coleman started off dominant in the low post, hitting their first eight shots combined from the field. Coleman scored his 400th career point as a Tiger.
* Black is now averaging 11.4 points and 7.0 rebounds in his last five appearances. He also tied a career high with four blocks.

* Mr. Big Shot: Freshman Chris Crawford nailed a three in the second-half to halt a 15-3 second-half Blazer run, then hit a three with 3:04 left to tie the game at 62. Freshman Joe Jackson had seven assists on the night and is averaging 6.3 per game in his last three contests.
* Freshman Will Barton led the Tigers with 17 points and tied a career high with eight rebounds.
* Memphis held the Blazers to a 2-for-23 night from beyond the arc, the worst an opponent has shot against the Tigers this season.
