Cincinnati Too Much For Tigers

CINCINNATI (AP) - DeMarco McCleskey rushed for 101 yards, and scored three touchdowns in the first half to lead Cincinnati to a 48-10 victory Saturday over Memphis.
McCleskey scored on 3- and 1-yard runs in the first quarter and on a 4-yard run in the second quarter. The Bearcats (3-5, 2-2 Conference USA) also got two rushing touchdowns from Richard Hall, who scored on an 8-yard run in the second quarter and a 10-yard run in the fourth.
Cincinnati rushed for 213 yards and held Memphis to 47 yards. Hall rushed for 54 yards on 11 attempts.
Gino Guidugli finished 21-for-34 for 225 yards. LaDaris Vann caught nine passes for 106 yards.
Memphis got a 39-yard field goal from Stephen Gostowski to cut it to 7-3 with 2:08 to play in the first quarter, but got no closer. DeAngelo Williams scored for the Tigers (2-6, 1-4 CUSA) on a 4-yard run in the third period.
The Bearcats held the ball for more than 35 minutes, recovered three fumbles and had three interceptions, including Blue Adams' 80-yarder for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
